Now that gas prices are practically through the roof, everyone’s in search of alternative ways to get their pretty little selves to their respective destinations. Short of getting yourself a t
ime-traveling Delorean (which thrives on compost), there really is little alternative available in the market, since hybrids still require you to buy gas from your local station *insert evil laughter from greedy corporations here*.
One way to save yourself all the pain is the NmG (No more Gas) from Myers Corporation, a one-seater vehicle that runs entirely on electricity. Using a lithium battery, a full charge can give you more than 40 miles of driving. It’s incredibly small and compact, too, meaning you can fit into areas otherwise too small or narrow for most sedans to go through. This means you can easily cut your travel-and-park time in half.
It’s still a bit expensive, though, at $29,995, and it doesn’t give you the same mileage as most gas-driven cars. Still, it’s a pretty little machine that looks completely futuristic, so what the hell. I still want one.
Did I mention that it’s earth-friendly, too? Al Gore would be proud.
