From the makers of the lovely NOYP laptop sleeves comes another sturdy and stylish way to carry your beloved notebooks around.

Cathy’s Bags offers the Marlene — a solid laptop bag with thick cushioning that ensures top-notch protection for your Macbook or PC. Though it comes in the usual black, the Marlene is also available in quirky colors and combinations such as Pink/Zebra, Lemon/Zebra, Brown/Croc and Red/Croc. Personally, I’m not really fond of animal prints. With the Marlene, though, just a touch of the print provides sharp contrast and interesting detail to the off-beat colors.

My personal favorite is the Pink/Zebra, mainly because I love pink, and also because the zebra stripes stand out and make the bag much more interesting.

If you’re worried about empty aesthetics, fear not. The Marlene contains lots of space for your other gadgets and whatnot. Even with the laptop, it’s still roomy and quite spacious. Plus, it comes with a free matching laptop sleeve that, of course, further keeps your baby safe from scratches, bumps and shakes.

The bags come in small (13in for Macbooks and 12-14.1in for PCs) and medium (15in for Macbooks and 14.1-15in for PCs), at Php2200 and Php2500 respectively. Not bad for a bag+sleeve set. Owners of 17-inch laptops will have to sit this one out, though.
